'Lock' prevents t he service provider from chang-
ing the lock code. 'Unlock' allows the provider to
change the code and restrict others from
activating the phone.
I f this happen s, select the appropr iate selection for you r
phone. If yo u don’t want your service provider to change
your lock code, select
Lock
. If you wan t to allow you r
service provider to change your code to prevent other
serv ic e p ro vid ers fro m ac tiv a tin g y o u r phone, press
Un l ock
.
If you wish to do neith er and want to return to the start
screen, press and hold .
Note: This feature may not be available in all systems. Please
contact your service provider for details about the availability of
this feature.

provider or dealer gives you a separate feature code to
activate each service. Deactivation codes are used to
deactivate each service.
Once you store the appropriate code in your phone, the
servi ce appears as a menu it em. You can then use t he
menu to activate and deactivate these services.
Note: These f eature codes may already be stored in your phone by
your service provi der. Check wit h your service provider to confirm
if these codes are already configured in your phone.
Note: If your phone has more t han one phone number
programmed, any feature codes stored will apply only to your
primary phone number, or NAM 1.
