Checking signal strengt h
When at the start screen (
see page 10
) or in a
call, the strength of the radio signal is
indicated by the signal in dicators on the left
side of your phone’s display. These indicator s
will move up as the strength of the signal
increases and dow n as it decreases.
Increasing your phone’s signal may be easy. Try moving
your phone slightly, or mo ve towards a window if you’re
calling from inside a building.
Making a call
Your cellular phone does not have a dial tone. Simply
en ter th e p h one n um ber ( in c lu din g area c od e, as n eed ed )
and press
NORMAL POSITION: Hold t he phone as you would any other
telephone wit h the antenna pointed up and over your shoulder.

If you make a mistake while entering a number to dial,

to move it
