Type the password, up to eight charact ers, and press <Ent er>. You will be asked to c onfirm the password.
Type the pass word again and press < Ent er>. You may also press <Esc> to abort t he selection and not
enter a password.T o dis able passw ord, just press <Enter> when you are prompted to enter passw ord.
A m ess age " PASSW OR D DI SABLED " will appear t o confirm the pass word being disabled. Once the
pass word is disabled, t he s ys tem w ill boot and y ou c an enter Setup f reely .
The BI OS Setup program allows y ou t o specify tw o separate passwords:
SUPERVISOR PASSW OR D and a U SER PASSW OR D. W hen disabled, anyone m ay access all BIOS
Setup program funct ion. When enabled, the Supervisor pass word is required for entering the BIOS
Setup program and having f ull configuration fields, the Us er pas sword is required to access only bas ic
items.
If you select "Syst em " at "Pas sw ord Check " in Advance BI OS F eatures M enu, you w ill be prom pt ed
for the pass word ev ery t im e the s ys tem is rebooted or any time you try t o enter Setup M enu.
If y ou s elect " Set up" at "Password Check" in Advanc e BIOS Features Menu, y ou will be prompted only
when y ou t ry t o enter Setup.you t ry t o enter Setup.
