In se rt SIM c ard
Before you can make a ca ll on your mobile
phone you have to insert the SIM card.
Should you ha ve for gotten to inse rt the SIM ca rd
the telephone will a sk you to do so.
Before inserting the SIM card into the phone
ple ase make sure that any pla stic remains from
the frame punching have been removed.
1. Switch off your phone.
2. Remove the battery if a ttached on the
phone.
3. Insert the SIM card in the slot a nd slide
it upwards until the locking catch snaps.
Ple ase note tha t the truncated corner
should be at the bottom rig ht.
4. Insert the ba ttery.
5. Switch on the te lephone.
The phone will display a welcome greeting.
6. Enter PIN code, if requeste d, and
confirm by pre ssing

The te lephone will now start searching for your
home network. When connection is successfully
established, the name of your network ope rator
will be displa yed.
If the telephone cannot get in touch with your
home network it will sta rt searching for anothe r
co-operating ne twork.
If the phone ca nnot establish conta ct with any
network at all and you atte mpt to make a call, the
display will show

Remove SIM card
To remove the SIM card pre ss the small re d
catch to the right of the SIM card with a pencil
or other pointed object.
