Troubleshooting guide
Below is a table describing simple measures that can help you eliminate most problems likely to emerge
when this unit is in use. If below measures do not help, turn to a service center or to the nearest dealer.
Symptom Cause Solution
No power The car ignition is not on.
The fuse is blown.
If the power supply is properly connected
to the car acce ssory switch t he ignition key
to “ACC”.
Replac e the fus e.
Disc cannot be
loaded.
Presence of disc inside the player. Remove the disc in the player then put a
new upward.
Disc cannot be read. Inserting the disc in upside down.
Compact disc is extremely dirty or
defective.
Temper atur e inside the car is to o high.
Insert the com pact disc with the label
facing upward.
Clean the disc or try to play a new one.
Cool off until the ambient temperature
returns to normal.
No soun d Volume is in minimum.
Wiring is n ot pr operly connected.
Adjust volum e to a desi red l evel.
Check wiring connection.
The operation keys
do not work.
The built-in microcom puter i s not
operatin g properly due to noise.
Front panel is not properly fix into its
place.
Press the power button for about 10
secon ds to reset the unit
Sound skips. The installation angle is more than 30
degrees.
The disc is extremely dirty or

Adjust the instal lation angle to less t han 3 0
degrees.
