Troubleshooting guide
Below is a table describing simple measures that can help you eliminate most problems likely to emerge
when this unit is in use. If below measures do not help, turn to a service center or to the nearest dealer.
Symptom Cause Solution
The car ignition is not on. If the pow er supply is properly con nected to
the car accessory switch the ignition key to
“ACC”.
No power
The fuse is blo wn. Replace the fuse.
Volum e is on minimum. Adjust vol ume to a desired lev el.No soun d
Wiring is n ot pr operly conne cted. Check wiring connection.
The installation angle is more than 30
degrees.
Adjust the instal lation angle to less than 3 0
degrees.
Bad sound quality
The disc is extremel y dirty or def ective. Clean the compact disc/try to play a new
one.
The unit already co ntains a di sc. Remov e the disc in the play er then put a new
one.
Disc cannot be
loa d ed or ejecte d
Moistur e condensation. Leave the unit idl e for an hour, then retry.
The disc is inserted upside down. Insert the compact disc with th e label side
facing upward.
