AF (Alternative frequencies) funct ion
Briefly press AF but ton t o t urn o n or t urn o ff the AF funct ion. Symbol “AF” will appear on t he display. The t uner will ret urn to
Alternat ive Frequencies whenever the reception signal is getting worse.
AF symbol is on – the AF mode is on, RDS information is being received;
AF symbol is off – the AF mode is off;
AF symbol is flashing - the AF mode is on, RDS information is not being received.
Press and hold AF button to enable REGION ON/RE GION OFF select ion. Yo u can select REGION ON o r OFF by pressing AF
butto n.
REGI ON ON: PI code is checked when AF check is in progr ess.
REGI ON OFF: PI code and Coverage area is no t checked when AF check is in pro gr ess.
TA (Traffic alarm) function
Press TA button briefly to select the TA mode on/off. Traffic announcement interrupts CD playback or radio listening when
broadcasted. To interrupt traffic announcement press TA button shortly; it will not switch off the TA mode. The set will return to
the previous operating mode. Under TA broadcasting, if the volume level is below 20, it increases to 20 and returns to its
previous value when the TA broadcast is over.
PTY (Program type) function
When PTY is selected, the radio starts to search corresponding PTY information and stops when the corresponding PTY
information is detected. If corresponding PTY information is not found, NO PTY is displayed.
Press PTY button o nce t o choose Music mode, then press number but tons (1-6) to cho ose t he needed progra m.
