• Turn the operation mode switch (12) knob
to the position «
», the water supply pump
will switch on for 3 seconds - it is necessary
for preliminary soaking of the ground cof-
fee; after a pause the pump will be switched
on and the water will be supplied constantly,
watch the cup being filled with ready coffee.
After the cup is filled, switch the water sup-
ply off by setting the switch (12) knob to the
position «О».
Note:
– after you set the operation mode knob (12) to
the position «О», the pressure is released, the
remaining hot water fills the tray (7); you will
hear a distinctive sound and see the steam
released from the left side of the tray grid (8),
be careful to avoid burns by the released hot
steam.
– control the tray (7) filling, periodically pour out
the liquid and wash the tray (7).
• Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the
power switch (5) button.
• Wait until the coffee maker cools down and
remove the filter holder (9), turn the holder
(9) handle to the left until bumping. Remove
the ground coffee remnants and wash the fil-
ter (15).
Note: warm the cups that you want to use first;
to do this, place the cups on the cup warming
tray (13), while water is heated in the boiler, the
tray (13) heats up too, thus warming the cups.
MAKING CAPPUCCINO
Attention! Be careful not to get burns by
the outgoing steam from the cappuccinator
pipe (4).
• Make coffee, as described in the chapter
«MAKING ESPRESSO», in the warm cup with
enough capacity to add frothed milk.
• Set the switch (12) knob to the position «О»
and wait until the indicator (11) will stop flash-
ing and lights constantly.
• Put the tip (6) into the cup with cold milk or
cream. Set the knob (12) to the position «
».
The tip (6) should not touch the bottom of the
cup, as this can hinder the steam release; with
certain skill you can make frothed milk in sev-
eral seconds.
• Switch the steam supply off by setting the
switch (12) knob to the position «О».
• Add frothed milk to the cup of coffee.
• Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the
power switch (5) button.
Important:
– It is important that milk for making foam is
fresh and without additives, is not so-called
long storage milk.
– Use regular whole milk with fat content from
4% to 6%, the cream fat content should be
not less than 10%.
– Clean the cappuccinator pipe (4) and its tip
(6) right after milk or cream frothing - to do
this, put the cappuccinator pipe (4) with the
tip (6) into a glass of water, switch the steam
supply on, by setting the switch (12) knob to
the position «
», and after that switch the
steam supply off and switch the coffee maker
off.
– Wait until the coffee maker cools down and
remove the tip (6) from the cappuccinator
pipe (4), wipe the cappuccinator pipe (4) with
a soft damp cloth and wash the tip (6) under
a water jet.
Note: the next making of coffee should be per-
formed with an at least 5 min interval.
WARMING THE DRINKS
You can warm up your drinks by putting the cap-
puccinator pipe (4) without the tip (6) into the
cup.
• Switch the coffee maker on and wait until
water in the boiler heats up (the ready light
(11) will be glowing constantly).
• Put the cappuccinator pipe (4) into the cup
with the drink you want to warm up.
• Set the switch (12) knob to the position « ».
• After warming the drink switch the steam sup-
ply off by setting the knob (12) to the posi-
tion «О».
• Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the
power switch (5) button «
».
HOW TO MAKE A GOOD ESPRESSO
– Use fresh ground coffee for «espresso» cof-
fee makers.
– Slightly tamp the ground coffee in the filter
(15), you can do it with the back side of the
measuring spoon (14).
– Coffee strength depends on the quality and
grinding degree of coffee beans. If coffee
is pouring out too long, this means the cof-
fee powder is too fine or it is tamped too
strongly.
