ENGLISH
• Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction
is detected or after it was dropped, unplug
the unit and apply to any authorized service
center from the contact address list given in
the warranty certificate and on the website-
www.vitek.ru.
• Transport the unit in the original package
only.
• For environment protection do not discard the
unit with usual household waste after its ser-
vice life expiration; apply to a specialized cen-
ter for further recycling.
• Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach
of children and disabled persons.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD
USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low
temperature keep it for at least three hours
at room temperature before switching on.
– Unpack the coffee maker, remove any stick-
ers that can prevent unit operation.
– Make sure that operating voltage of the cof-
fee maker corresponds to the voltage of your
mains.
– Before using the coffee maker for the first
time, wash all removable parts with warm
water and neutral detergent and dry them.
BEFORE USING THE UNIT
Before making coffee wash the coffee maker
boiler.
• Remove the water tank (2), fill it with cold
water and install back to its place.
• Make sure that the operation mode switch
(12) is set to the position «O».
• Insert the coffee filter (15) into the holder (9),
do not add ground coffee into the filter (15).
• Install the filter holder (9) back to its instal-
lation place (10). The filter holder (9) ledges
should match the groves on the boiler, after
that turn the filter holder (9) handle to the right
until bumping.
• Place a suitable cup on the tray grid (8).
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the
power switch (5) «
» button, the button (5)
illumination will light up and the ready light (11)
will be flashing. Wait until water in the boiler
heats up, the ready light (11) will be glowing
constantly.
• Turn the operation mode switch (12) knob
to the position «
», the pump will switch on
for 3 seconds; after a pause the pump will be
switched on and the water will be supplied
constantly. After the cup is filled with water,
switch the water supply off by setting the
switch (12) knob to the position «О» and pour
the water out of the cup. Depending on the
cup capacity repeat this procedure several
times until the boiler is clean.
ATTENTION!
– Do not remove the filter holder (9) during cof-
fee maker operation.
– To remove the filter holder (9) turn the filter
holder handle to the left until bumping and
remove the holder (9).
Washing the cappuccinator pipe (4)
• Place a suitable cup under the cappuccina-
tor pipe (4).
• Turn the operation mode switch (12) knob to
the position «
», after some time (5-10 sec-
onds) switch the water supply off by setting
the switch (12) knob to the position «О» and
pour the water out of the cup.
• Switch the coffee maker off by pressing the
power switch (5) button.
MAKING ESPRESSO
• Remove the water tank (2), fill it with cold
water and install back to its place.
• Make sure that the operation mode switch (12)
is set to the position «O».
• Put ground coffee in the filter (15) using the
measuring spoon (14), slightly tamp the
coffee with the back side of the measuring
spoon (14).
• Install the filter holder (9) back to its instal-
lation place (10). The filter holder (9) ledges
should match the groves on the boiler, after
that turn the filter holder (9) handle to the right
until bumping.
• Place the cup on the tray grid (8).
• Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
• Switch the coffee maker on by pressing the
power switch (5) «
» button, the button (5)
illumination will light up and the ready light (11)
will be flashing.
• Wait until water in the boiler heats up, the
ready light (11) will be glowing constantly.
