COMMON COOKING MISTAKES (IN MULTICOOKER MODE) AND WAY OF SOLUTION
Possible cause of problem
Solution
Dish is uncooked
The lid is not closed or closed wrong way, so the cooking temperature is not high enough.
Do not open the lid while cooking unless necessary.
Close the lid until click sound. Make sure that the lid is tightly closed, there are no strange objects
between lid and housing, seal ring is not deformed.
Inner pot and the heating element had poor contact, so the cooking temperature was not high
enough.
The inner pot should be set evenly into the appliance, pot bottom should contact the heating
element tightly. Make sure there are no strange objects. Always keep heating element clean.
Wrong ingredients selection. Ingredients did not match the way of cooking or cooking program.
The ingredients were cut into too large pieces, improper ingredients proportion.
Wrong cooking time.
The recipe didn’t match this multicooker model.
Use proved recipe that is adapted for this multicooker model.
The ingredients, way of cutting, proportions, time of cooking and cooking program should match
the recipe.
Steam: there was no enough water in the pot to provide proper vapor density.
Pour recommended amount of water for steaming.
Fry
Too much oil in the pot.
For frying pour oil into the pot so it covers inner pot bottom with a thin layer. For deep fry pour
recommended in recipe amount of oil.
Excess moisture in the pot.
Do not close the lid while frying (excluding recipes which recommend to close the lid).
Defrost frozen products before cooking and drain the water.
Boil: broth boiled away (when using peracidity ingredients).
Some products need special preparation before cooking: washing, frying etc. Follow recipe
instruction.
Cake: the dough was not well cooked.
Dough stuck to the lid while proving and shut
the steam relief valve.
Put smaller amount of dough into the pot.
Too much dough.
Take the pastry out of the pot, turn upside down and keep cooking till the end of the program. Next
time use smaller amount of dough.
Dish is overcooked
Wrong cooking time or ingredients selection.

Long time of “Keep warm” function using after cooking process finish.
It is not recommended to use “Keep warm” function for a long time.
Products are boiling away
Porridge: milk is boiling away.
Quality and properties of milk may vary because of location and conditions. Use ultra-pasteurized
milk with a fat content up to 2.5%. If necessary, dilute milk with water.
The ingredients have not been prepared before cooking or prepared incorrectly (not washed, ect.).
Ingredients proportion or type of product was wrong.

Whole grain cereals, meat, fish and seafood must be thoroughly rinsed until clear water before
cooking.
Dish burns
