TA (Traffic alarm) function
Touch TA button on the screen or pr ess an d hold AF/TA butt on on t he RC to switch on the TA function. When
TA is on, the TA displays on TFT, or else, if there is no TP information, the mode will search TP station
automatically. When TA is playing, the volume will be adjusted to a TA level automatically. When other
modes are activated (such as DVD, AUX), if a TA program is played the mode will skip to the RDS mode
automatically. It will resum e to the primary mode after the TA is over.
Pro gram type (PTY)
Press PTY button on the RC to activate the PTY function, press it repeatedly to show Music group/Speech
group/PTY off. Choose the needed PTY type by pressing the icon in the touchable screen or pressing the
corresponding number buttons on the R C. When PTY search is on, and the selecte d typ e matches, PTY
information is displayed. If PTY code is different or not available, PTY NONE icon will blinks, PTY engaging
automatically exit to no rmal mod e.
