Troubleshooting guide
Below is a table describing simple measures that can help you eliminate most problems likely to emerge
when this unit is in use. If below measures do not help, turn to a service center or to t he nearest dealer.
Symptom Cause Solution
No power The car ignition is not on.
The fuse is blown.
If the power supply is properly connected
to the car acce ssory switch t he ignition key
to “ACC”.
Repla ce the fuse.
Disc cannot be loa ded. Presence of disc inside the player. Remove the disc in the player then put a
new upward.
Disc cannot be read. Inserting the dis c in upsid e down.
Compact disc is extremely dirty or
defective.
Temperature inside the car i s too
high.
Insert the compact disc with the label
facing upw ard.
Clean the disc or try to play a n ew one.
Cool off until the ambient temperatur e
returns to normal.
No soun d Volume is in minimu m.
Wiring is n ot pr operly conn ected.
Adjust volume to a desi red l ev el.
Check wiring connection.
The oper ation keys do
not work.
The built-in microcomputer is not
operatin g properly due to noise.
Front panel is not pro perly fi x into
its pl ace.
Press the power bu tton for abo ut 10
secon ds to reset the unit
Sound skip s. The installation angle is mor e than
30 degrees.
The disc is extremely dirty or
defective.
Adjust the instal lation angle to less than 30
degrees.
Clean the compact disc/try to play a n ew
one.
The radio does not work,

The antenna cable is no t

Insert the antenna cable firmly sel ect a
station manually.
