• Put water and food in the cooking pot. Do not fill the cooker more than to 3/5 of its capacity. During cooking food
products that ex pand i n hot water (rice, dry vegetables) or foam, do not fill the pot more than t o the half of it s
capacity. At that the entire volume of food products and water should not exceed 1/5 of the tot al pot capacity.
• Put the pot inside the outer body of t he uni versal cooker.
• Close the lid unti l the click is heard.
• Connect the univ ersal cooker to mains. The indicator l am p corresponding to the 1st cooking p rogram starts
blinking. The number of the 1st subprogram will be display ed.
• The universal cooker provides eight cooking program s and thirty five subp rograms. Each main program
corresponds to t he definite number of subprograms. These subprograms are described in more detail in the
table given in t he begi nning of the pre sent manual.
• Press "MENU" butt on as many times as required to select respective cooking program . The corresponding
indicator lamp located near the program lights when the program is selected. The number of the f i rst suitable
subprogram for t his program will be displayed.
• Using the "HOUR (+)" and "MIN (-)" buttons, sele ct the required subprogram (for convenience, the subprogram
list is printed on the uni versal cooker ho using).
• For instance, the program for stewing lamb is selected as foll ows:
• 1. When the universal cooker is connec ted to mains, press the "MENU" button five times to select the "STEW"
program. The num ber of the first suitable subprogra m (01) will be displaye d.
• 2. Press the "HOUR ( +)" button twice a nd select the "Lamb" subprogram.
• When the cooking program and subprogram are selected, press the "START" button. The preset ti m e for the
selected program will be displayed.
• Use the "HOUR (+ )" and "MIN (-)" buttons to adjust cooking time according to Recipe Book. The cooking time
adjustment ranges for each program are given in the table above.
• After making all settings, press the "START" button once again. The universal cooker will start operat i on.
• After completion of the operation the universal cooker automatically switc hes to warming up mode.
• For the "STEAM" program the wire rack should be used. Pour w ater in the pot, put food products on the rack and
place the wire rack int o the pot.
• For convenience, you can use the spo on cradle. Fasten the cradle to the uni versal cooker housing.
MY RECIPE/COOKING TIME FUNCTION
• This function allows cooking food by presetting cookin g time and temperature settings other than those used in
automatic programs.
• Press the "MY RECIPE/COOKING T IME". The minim um temperature 40°C wi l l be displayed. You may set the
required temperature wit hi n the range from 40°C to 1 60°C. To adjust temper ature, press and hold the "MIN (-)"
button. To confi rm the setting, press the " MY RECIPE /COOKING TIME " button again.
• After that, you may set cooking time within the range from 1 m inute to 12 hours. To do it, press and hol d the
"MIN(-)" button. To confirm the setting and st art cooking press the " START" button.
START DELAY FUNCTION
• This function all ows you to start coo king at predefined time.
• Select the cooking program and set the cooking time, according to the OPERATION section.
• To set this function, press the "PRES E T " button, and set the desired time when cooking should start, usi ng the
"HOUR (+)" and "MIN (-)" buttons. The display will show the time at which the program should stop.
• To begin operation press the "START" button.
KEEP WARM/OFF FUNCTION
• If needed, press t he "K EEP WARM/OFF" button to suspend the cooking process.
• The preheat functi on operates in automatic mode and starts only after the cooking process is f i nished.
• The maximum heat ing time is 1 hours (ex cept the yoghurt prog ram). At that the temperature inside the universal
cooker shall not ex ceed 60°C.
• This function can be used to preheat f oods. To use this f unct i on, put the food you want to preheat i nside the
cooker pot, and press the "KEEP WARM/OFF" button.
• To store food af ter cooking, cover the pot with the heat resistant plast i c li d.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the appliance regularly and remove all food debris f rom its surface.
• Prior to cleaning s witch the universal c ooker off and wait until it has cooled down.
• Clean the control panel, external and in ternal surfaces of t he cooker with damp cloth soaked in detergent, and
then wipe it dry. Do not wash the housing and do not spray wat er on it.
• Wash the pot in warm water and cleaning agent, and wipe it dry. It is recomm ended to wash the pot immediately
after cooking.
• WARNING! Do not wash the detachable parts of the universal cooker in dish washing machine.
STORAGE
• Make sure that the appliance is discon nected from power source and has cool ed down. Perform all actions
described in the " CLE A NING AND MAIN T E NA NCE" section. St ore the universal cooker with the lid partly closed
in a dry clean place.
