Troubleshooting guide
Symptom Cause Solution
No power The car ignition is not on .
The fus e is blown.
If t he power supply is properly
co nnected to the car accesso ry switch
the ignition key to “ACC”.
Replace the fuse.
Disc c annot be
loaded.
Presence of CD disc inside t he player. Remove the disc in the player then put a
new upward.
Disc c annot be
read.
Inserting the disc in upside do wn.
Compact disc is extremely dirty or
defective.
Temper atur e inside t he car is t oo high.
Insert the compact disc with the label
facing upward.
Clean the disc or try to play a new one.
C ool off un til the ambient temperature
returns to n ormal.
No sound Volume is in minimum.
Wiring is no t properly co nnected.
Adjust v olume to a desired level.
Che ck wiring c onnec tio n.
T he bu ttons d o not
work.
The b uilt-in microcomputer is not ope ratin g
properly due t o noise.
Front panel is not properly fix into its place.
P re ss the RESET button.
R einstall the fron t panel.
So und skips. The installat ion angle is mo re than 30
degrees.
The disc is extremely dirty or de fective.
Adjust the inst allation angle to less than
30 degrees.
Clean the compact disc/try to play a new
one.
The radio does not
work.
The radio st ation
aut omatic select ion
does not work.
The antenna cable is no t connect ed. Signals
are too weak.
Insert t he antenna cable firmly. Select a
s tation manually.
