Troubleshooting guide
Symptom
Cause Solution
General
No power
The car ignition is not on.
The fus e is b lown.
If the power supply is properly connected to the
car acc essory s witch the ignition key to “AC C”.
Replac e the f use.
Disc
Disc cannot b e loaded.
P resence of disc ins ide the pl ayer. Remove the disc in the player then put a new
upward.
Disc cannot b e read. Insert ing the disc in ups ide down.
Compact disc is extremely dirty or
defective.
Temper ature ins ide the car is too high.
Insert the compact disc with the label facing
upward.
C lean the dis c or try to p lay a new one.
Cool off until the ambient temperature returns to
normal.
No sou nd Volume is in minimu m.
Wiring is not p roperly c onnected.
Adjust volume to a desired level.
C heck wiring connection.
The op era tion keys do not
work.
The built-in microcomputer is not
operating proper ly due t o noise.
Front panel is not properly fix into its
place.
Press the power button for about 10 seconds to
reset the unit
S ound s kips. The installation angle is more than 30
degrees.
The dis c i s extremely dirty or defective.
Adjust the installation angle to less than 30
degrees.
C lean the compact disc/try to p lay a new one.
