MP3 Track search mode
You can us e the 4 sea rch modes to fi nd your favorite MP3 songs. The search modes work only with MP3 discs.
Simple search
P ress PR EV/ NE XT b uttons to choose your s ong. Press t he 5/DN10 and 6 /UP10 b utton to advance 10 songs u p or down.
Track search
P ress F / PS b ut ton a nd t he dis pla y will s how “ T RK S CH ”. At t his moment, pr ess S EL knob so tha t “ T R K” will b link on
the display. Then rotate the knob to choose your desired track and press the knob again to confirm the selection. The
s elected t rack wil l be searched and p lay.
File search
P r ess F / P S b u tt on t wice a nd t he disp la y will s how “ F IL E S C H”. At this moment, pr ess S E L knob t o enter t he root fol der
of t he disc. Rota te the knob to choose a folder in t he root folder, and pr ess the knob to confir m. The selected folder will
be opened.
Character search
Press F/PS button three times and the display will show “CHAR SCH”. This is for searching files by file names. At this
moment, press SEL knob so that the initial character will blink on the display. Rotate the knob to select the character
a nd pr ess the knob once t o confir m the s election a dva nce t o the next cha r a cter . After you ha ve inp ut t he na me, p r ess a nd
hold t he knob to confirm. The song nearest a lpha bet ically t o your inp ut name will be searched and played.
Multi-session CD reading
This unit can read multi-session CDs. Press and hold SEL knob until “TA SEEK” is shown on the display, then press
the knob to cycle t hrou gh the menu s elections until “ MULT OF F” is shown. R ota te the knob t o choose “MULT ON” or
“MULT OFF”. The default is MULT OFF.
