Troubleshooting guide
Symptom
Cause Solution
General
No power
The car ignit ion is not on.
The fus e is b lown.
If the power su pp ly is proper ly connected t o
t he car a ccessory switch the ignition key t o
“ACC”.
Replace the fuse.
Disc
Disc cannot b e loaded.
P resence of disc i nside t he player. R emove the dis c i n the pl ayer then put a new
upwar d.
Disc cannot b e read. Insert ing the disc in ups ide down.
C ompact disc i s extremely dir ty or
defec tive.
Temper ature ins ide the car is too high.
Insert the compact disc with the lab el facing
upwar d.
C lean the dis c or t ry to play a new one.
C ool off until the ambient temperat ure ret urns
t o norma l.
No sou nd Volume is in minimum.
Wiring is not prop erly connect ed.
Adjust volume to a desired level.
C heck wiring connection.
The operation keys do not
wor k.
The bu ilt-in micr ocomputer is not
operating proper ly due t o noise.
F ront panel is not proper ly fix into its
place.
P ress the R ESE T bu tton.
R einstall the front p anel.
S ound s kips. The ins tallation angle is mor e than 3 0
degrees.
The dis c i s extr emely dir ty or defective.
Adjust the installation angle to less than 30
degrees.
C lean the compact dis c/try to play a new one.
The radio does not work,
t he radio station
a utoma tic select ion does
not work.
The ant enna cable is not connect ed the
s ignals are too wea k.
Insert the ant enna cable firmly select a st ation
manu ally.
