EON (Enhanced Other Networks)
Press for more than 2 seconds the TA/EON butto n to enable or disable EON mode. When EON data is
received, t he EON indicator lights and the TA and AF functions are enhanced.
This unit is equipped with the latest technology of EON contro l, so that when you are listening to Radio or CD,
if there is any travel announcement fro m a nearby local stat ion, the radio will already know t he frequency of
that radio station. Then it will receive the station, turn up the volume, or interrupt the playback for the duration
of the announcement. At the end of the announcement the radio will return to its previous state ready for the
next announcement.
