Operation
USB/SD/MMC operations
Connecting a USB/Memory card
Insert a USB device into the USB port of this
unit (remove the rubber cover first). Detach the
front panel and insert an SD/MMC memory
card until a click into the memory card slot. If
you want to remove the card, detach the front
panel, press the card until a click, then pull
to remove. Always switch the unit to another
operation mode before disconnecting USB/
memory card from the slot.
USB supported capacity: up to 1 TB SD/
MMC supported capacity: up to 32 GB. FAT16/
FAT32/NTFS file systems are supported.
This unit supports playback of video codecs
DIVX, H.263, H.264, MPEG1, MPEG2, RVMB,
MPEG4, XVID, audio codecs WMA, MP3,
FLAC, OGG, APE, AAC, pictures in JPEG,
BMP, GIF, PNG.
The above list of extensions and codecs
is for information only and is not a guarantee
that all files having the above extensions and
codecs will be read by this unit.
For correct and satisfactory operation,
licensed SD/MMC memory cards of famous
brands should be used with this unit. Avoid
using memory cards of unknown brands.

Standard, usage of a USB device with power
current consumption exceeding 500 mA is not
recommended without supplementary power
supply. Failure to use supplementary power for
connected USB drives with power consumption
exceeding this value as well as defective
USB drives may cause mechanical or thermal
changes of elements of this unit or failure of
internal elements of USB port. Such damages
are not warranty cases.
Warning: usage of external USB drives
containing BIN files in the root directory may
cause malfunction of the unit or damage to the
software.
Playback
• When a USB or a memory card is first
connected, playback will begin automatically.
Depending on the number of files and folders,
the device may take several seconds to begin
playback.
Operations
ADVANCE/GO BACK
Advance to the next track or go back to the
previous track by pressing the forward or
rewind buttons on the front panel or touch
screen.
PLAY/PAUSE
Press the play/pause button to pause the
playback or resume.
FAST FORWARD/FAST REWIND
Press and hold the forward or rewind icons on
the touch screen during audio playback. The
unit will fast forward/rewind the song/video until
you release.
ASPECT RATIO
During video playback, tap the screen in order
to switch the aspect ratio of the video. On the
menu you can select full screen, 16:9, and 4:3
accordingly. The viewing effect will depend on
the video file so it may vary.
OTHER SETTINGS
During playback, you can adjust other settings
including random/repeat play, and sub-title/
audio channel, etc, by tapping on the menu
list on the button of the screen. During video
playback, tap the screen once and the menu
list will show up.
Steering wheel control (SWC)
Refer to the wiring diagram for connection.
The brown wire (SWC 1) must be connected,
then the white or grey (SWC 2A and 2B) will be
connected depending on the total number of
the wire from the steering wheel remote control
