Operation Operation
General operations
Turning on/off
Press any button (except OPEN button) on
the panel or the RC to turn on the unit. Press
and hold PWR button on the panel or press
STANDBY button on the RC to switch the unit off.
After the unit is off, the volume level
and radio current settings will be memorized,
and when you turn the unit on it will resume
the stored status you previously set. To protect
your ear from too loud sound, the unit volume
level will turns to 40 automatically when you
turn the unit on if currect volume level setting is
above 40 when your turn the unit off.
Volume control
Rotate VOLUME knob or press VOL+/VOL-
buttons on the RC to adjust the volume level.
Mute function
Press PWR/MUTE button on the panel or
MUTE button on the RC to turn the sound off.
Press it again to turn the sound on.
Audio parameter setting
Press MENU button on the panel or RC to
select SOUND. Press OK button on the panel
or ENTER button on the RC to enter SOUND
setting mode. Press MENU button repeatedly
to select the audio settings: VOLUME =>
BASS => TREBLE => BALANCE => FADER.
Or press repeatedly SEL button on the RC
to select the audio settings. Rotate VOLUME
knob or press VOL+/VOL- buttons on the RC to
adjust each parameter.
If the unit is turned off, all the settings of
each mode will be saved. If cutting off battery
power or resetting the unit, all the settings will
return to factory default settings.
Equalizer (DSP) setting
Press MENU button on the panel or RC to
select EQ. Press OK button on the panel or
ENTER button on the RC to enter EQ setting
mode. Press MENU button repeatedly to select
a DSP mode: FLAT => CLASSICS => POP =>
ROCK => DSP OFF.
Or press DSP button on the RC repeatedly
to select a DSP mode.
Loudness
Press and hold BAND button on the front
panel to switch LOUD function on. LOUD
function is to emphasize the bass output.
Beep
Press repeatedly MENU button on the panel
or RC to select EXPERT. Press OK button
on the panel or ENTER button on the RC to
enter EXPERT setting mode. Press MENU
button repeatedly to choose BEEP ON (BEEP
OFF/BEEP 2ND); rotate VOLUME knob or
press VOL+/VOL- buttons on the RC to toggle
between BEEP ON (beep sound will be heard
when buttons are pressed), BEEP 2ND (beep
sound will be heard when buttons are pressed
and held) and BEEP OFF (no beep sound for
button pressing).
Mode setting
Press MODE button to select between unit
operation modes: TUNER => CD => USB =>
SD => AUX (AV input).
USB, SD, DISC modes will only be
available when a USB device, memory card or
a disc is inserted into the unit.
Dual zone function
Press and hold MENU button on front
panel or DUAL/DISP button on the RC to set
DUAL ON/OFF. When DUAL is on, you can
set buttons as CURRENT or DUAL KEY in
EXPERT menu.
Press repeatedly MENU button on the panel
or RC to select EXPERT. Press OK button on
the panel or ENTER button on the RC to enter
EXPERT setting mode. Press MENU button
repeatedly to choose CURRENT (DUAL KEY);
rotate VOLUME knob or press VOL+/VOL-
buttons on the RC to toggle between CURRENT
(all the buttons are used only for current front
zone operation) and DUAL KEY (all the buttons
