Troubleshooting g uide
Symptom Cause Solution
No power
The car ignition is not on.
The fuse is blown.
If the power supp ly is properly c onnected to the
car a ccessory switch the ignition key to “ACC”.
Replace the fu se.
Disc cannot be loaded. Presence of disc inside t he player. R emove the dis c i n the player then put a new
upwar d.
Disc cannot be read. Inserting the dis c in u pside down.
C ompact disc i s extr emely dir ty or defect ive.
Temperature inside t he car is too high.
Insert the compact disc wit h the label facing
upwar d.
C lean the disc or t ry to play a new one.
Cool off until the ambient temperature returns to
normal.
No sound Volume is in minimum.
Wiring is not properly c onnected.
Adjust volume to a desired level.
C heck wiring connection.
The buttons do not work. The built-i n microcomputer is not op erating
properly due to noise.
F ront panel is not p roperly fix into its place.
P ress the R ESE T b utt on.
R einsta ll the front panel.
S ound skips . The ins tallation angle is more t han 30 degrees.
The dis c is extremely dirt y or defect ive.
Adjust the ins tallation angle to less than 30
degrees.
C lean the compact disc/t ry to play a new one.
The radio does not work,
t he radio stat ion automa tic
s election does not work.
The antenna cable is not connec ted the si gnals a re
t oo wea k.
Insert the a ntenna cab le firmly s elect a station
manu ally.
