General operat ions
Reset the Unit
Operat ing t he unit fo r the first time or after replacing the car batt ery, you must reset t he unit . Remove the fro nt
panel at first, and then press RESET button on the inner panel of the unit with a pointed object, (such as a
ballpo int pen) to set t he unit t o initial stat e.
Note: When some errors occur on the display, you can also press RESET button to resume to normal, and it
will erase some memorized functio ns.
Turning the Unit On/Off
Press any button (except RELEASE) on the unit to turn it on or press
POWER/LIGHT butt o n on t he RC. Press and hold POWER/LIGHT but t o n o n
RC or POWER/MUTE button on the unit to turn off the unit completely.
There is a start-up screen on the touch screen when yo u turn on the unit, then
switch to TUNER or DISC playing mode.
TFT ON/OFF
Press POWER/LIGHT button on the RC to turn the display on or off. This function prevents the driver from
br ight light of t he disp lay whe n dr iving at night.
Volume Control
Press VOL+/VOL- butt on on the RC or on t he unit t o increase/decrease the sound level.
Mute Function
Pre ss MUTE bu tt on on t he RC o r POWE R/MU TE bu t ton o n the unit t o t urn off t he so und . T he co rr espo nding
icon appears on the TFT. Press it again to resume t he previous vo lume level.
