Auto memory store function
Press and hold for 2 seconds APS button on the RC or A.P. button on the panel to enter auto store mode. The
radio will auto mat ically store t he 6 stro ngest available stat ions to the 6 preset memo ries o f t he cur rent band. To
stop auto store, press this button again.
Mono/Stereo selection
Press ANGLE/ST button on the RC to select the sound channel: MONO or STEREO.
Local radio station search
P ress LOC but t o n o n t he RC sho rt ly t o t ur n t he LO CAL func tio n ON o r OFF. When the LO CAL funct io n is o n
the local stations (stations with weak radio signal) can be played. When the LOCAL function is off both local
and distant stations (stations with strong radio signal) can be played. Press the button again to turn it of.
RDS function
There are the PI, PS, TP, PTY, TA, AF.
PI: Program Identification Code – for identifying code.
PS: Program Service Name Bro adcast – station name data expressed in alphanumerically character.
TP: Traffic Program Identification – for traffic informa tion b roadca sting sta tion.
TA: Traffic Announcement Iden tification – showing traffic information is b eing transmitted or not.
AF: Alternative frequencies – frequency list of broadcast ing station transmitting the same program.
AF (Alternative Frequencies) function
Press AF button briefly to switch on/off mode. Symbol “AF” will appear on the display.
Note: The tuner will retur n to Alt ernative Frequencies whenever the reception signals getting worse.
“Alarm” will be displayed when an emergency broadcasting is received. Meanwhile sound output level will be
adjus ted to the p reset output level automatically when the volume c ontrol is set a t minimum.
