Half way through the grilling time the appliance will emit 2 bleeps to remind you to
turn the food over. Open the oven door, turn the food over, close the door and
push start to resume cooking. If you do not want to turn the food over, the
appliance will start again automatically after a 1 minute delay. The longest period
of grill cooking is 60 minutes.
Convection Cooking
This oven can be used as a convection oven and can be programmed to reach a
desired temperature for preheating. There are total 5 temperature levels, from
140C to 220C. Convection cooking means you are heating the cavity of the
microwave oven to the desired set temperature with hot air. This way you may
cook food the conventional way in your microwave oven.
When the convection heater is turned on, you will hear the fan that is pushing the
heated air into the microwave cavity. The fan also works after the cooking ends
until the convection heater is cooled down.
Example: To set the oven to pre-heat to 180 C
1. Press “MICRO” button until required temperature shows in the display
window, in this instance 180 C.
2. Press "START"
When the pre-heating is completed, the oven will beep several times, place the
food in the oven, set the convection cooking temperature and time, press “START”
button to begin cooking.
Example: To set the pre-heated oven to cook for 20 minutes at 200c
1. Press “MICRO” button until 200C shows in the display window.
2. Set cooking time for 20 minutes, by using the time select button.
3. Press “START” and the unit will automatically switch off when cooking time
ends.
Special note
When first using the convection oven you will find that generally your cook/rig
times will be longer than when using a conventional oven, we suggest that you
take special note when first using the appliance so that you can ensure your best
cooking results each time you use this feature.
I) Combination Cooking
This appliance offers you a choice of three methods of combination cooking.
C-1= Option 1: Convection + Microwave (200 C convection + 50% microwave)
This is ideal for roasting and baking.
C-2 = Option 2: grill and Convection (50% grill + 210C convection).
For fast crisping.
C-3 = Option 3: Grill and Microwave (50% grill + 50% microwave) For fast grilling
