Error displays/Messages
*1 When an error oc curs during playback of a CD or
MD, the disc number of the CD or MD does not
appear in the display.
*2 The disc number of the disc causing the error
appears in the display.
CD/MD playback
The sound skips.
Dirty or defective disc.

No disc is inserted in the CD/MD unit.

NO MUSIC
A CD which is not a music file is inserted in
the MP 3 pl ayable CD unit.
t Insert a music CD in the MP3 playable CD
unit.
NOTREADY
The li d of the MD uni t is open or t he MDs are
not insert ed prop erly.
t Close the lid or ins er t the MDs properl y.
OFFSET
There may be an internal malfunction.
t Che ck the co nnection. If the error
indication remains on in the display,
consul t yo ur neare st Sony deale r.
RESET
The CD/ MD un it cannot be operated because
of some problem.
t Press the RESET button on the unit.
