Notes
• For safety, turn off the ignition before cleaning the
connectors, and remove the key from the ignition
switch.
• Never touch the connectors directly with your fingers
or with any metal device.
Replacing the lithium battery
Under normal conditions, battery will last
approximately 1 year. (The service life may be
shorte r, dependin g on t he condi t io ns of use.)
When the battery becomes weak, the range of the
card remote commander be comes shorter.
Replace the battery with a new CR2025 lithium
battery. Use of any ot her battery ma y pr esent a
risk of fire or explosio n.
Notes on lithium battery
• K eep the lith iu m batter y out of the reac h of
children. Should the battery be swallowed,
immediately consult a doctor.
• Wipe the battery with a dry cloth to assure a
good contact.
• Be sur e to observe the correc t p ol arity wh en
instal lin g th e batte ry.
• Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers,
otherwise a s hor t -circui t m ay occur.
Remo ving the unit
1 Remove the protection collar.
1Detach the front panel (page 7).
2Engage the re le ase keys together
with the protection collar.
3Pull out th e release keys to r em ove
the protection collar.
2 Remov e the unit.
1Inse rt bo th release keys to gether
until they click.
2Pull th e releas e key s to u nseat the
unit.
3Slide the unit out of the m ou nting.
