Changing the sound and
display settings
The following items can be set:
• REAR/SUB*

— to swi tc h the audi o output
REAR or SUB.
– Select “REAR” to output to a power amplifier .
– Select “SUB” to output to a subwoof er.
• A.SCRL (Auto Sc roll)*

• M.DSPL (Motion Display) — to turn the
motion disp la y on or off.
– Select “ON” to activate the motion display
(the moving pattern appears in the display).
– Select “OFF” to deactiv ate the motion display.

on or off.
– Select “ON” to activate the demonstration
display (The demon st ration st arts about 10
seconds after the unit is turned off).
– Select “O FF” to d eactivate the
demon st ration di s play.
•BEEP*

— to turn th e beeps on or off.
• DIM — to change the brightness of the display.
– Select “ON” to d im the di splay.
– Select “O FF” to d eactivate the Dimmer.
Switching the REAR/SUB*

Press the select button and then r otate
the volume control dial.
After 3 seconds, the display returns to normal
play m ode.
Selecting the desired item
Press the select bu tton and the
desired button simultaneously.

select button + (4): DEMO*

select button + (6): BEEP*

select button + (DSPL): DIM
After the mode setting is complete, the display
returns to normal play mode.
To cancel the item, press the select button and the
desired button simultaneously again.
*1 When the unit is turned off.
*2 When an optional CD/ MD un it is c onnected and
played.
*3 The beep sound is output only when the built-in
amplifier is used.
