Receiving the stored stations
1 Press (SOURCE) repeatedly to select
the radio.
2 Press (MODE) repeatedly to select the
band.
3 Press th e number button ((1) to (6))
on which the desired st at ion is stored .
Tip
Press M or m to receive the stations in the order they
are stored in the memory (Preset Search function).
If preset tuning does not work
Press eith er side of (SEEK) to search
for the statio n (a uto m atic tuning).
Scanni ng stops when the unit r ec eives a
station. Repeat until the desired station is
received.
Tips
• If automatic tuning stops too frequently, turn on the
Local Seek to limit seek to stations with stronger
signals (see “Chang ing the sound and displ ay
settings” on page 34).
• If you know the frequency of the station you want to
listen to, press and hold either side of (SEEK) to
locate the approximate frequency, then press
(SEEK) repeatedly to fine adjust to the desired
frequency (manual tuning).
If FM stereo reception is poor
Select monaural reception mode
(see “Chan ging the so und and display
settings” on page 34).
The so und improves, but beco m es mona ural
(“ST” disapp ears).
Storing only the desired
stations
Yo u ca n manual ly preset the desired stat ions on
any chosen number butto n.
1 Press (SOURCE) repeatedly to select
the radio.
2 Press (MODE) repea te d ly to sele ct the
band.
3 Pres s either sid e of (SEEK) to tune in
the station that you want to store.
4 Press the de sire d num ber button ((1)
to (6)) fo r 2 seconds until “MEM”
appears.
The number button indication appears in the
display.
Note
If y o u t ry to st or e a no t her s t at io n o n t he same n um be r
button, the previously stored station will be erased.
