Setting the clock
The cloc k uses a 24-ho ur di gi tal indicati on.
Example: To set the clock to 10:08
1 Press (MENU), then pres s ei t her side
of (DISC/PRESET) repeatedly until
“CLOCK” appears.
1 Press (ENTER).
The hour indication flashes.
2 Press either side of (DISC /PRESET)
to set the hour.
3 Press the (+) side o f (SEEK).
The minute indication flashes.
4 Press either side of (DISC /PRESET)
to set the minute.
2 Press (ENTER).
The clock starts. Afte r the clo ck set tin g is
completed, th e di sp la y re tu rn s to normal play
mode.
Tips
• You can se t the clock automatical ly with the RDS
feature (page 19).
• When D.INFO mode is set to ON, the time is always
displayed (page 22).
CD Player
CD/MD Unit (optional)
In addition to playing a CD with this unit, you
can als o contro l exte rnal CD/ MD uni ts.
Note
If you connect an optional CD unit with the CD TEXT
function, the CD TEXT inf ormation will appear in the
display when you play a CD TEXT disc .
Playing a disc
(With this unit)
1 Press (OPEN) and insert the di sc
(labelled si de up ).
2 Close the front panel.
Playback starts automatically.
If a disc is al ready inserted, pre ss (SOURCE)
repeatedly until “CD” appears to start pla yback.
Notes
• When the last track on the disc is ov er, playback
restarts from the first track of the disc.
• With optional unit connected, playback of the same
source will continue on to the optional CD/MD unit.
