Notes
• For safety, turn off the ignition before cleaning the
connectors, and remove the key from the ignition
switch.
• Nev er touch the connectors directly with your fingers
or with any metal device.
Replacing the lithium battery
Under normal conditions, batteries will last
approximatel y 1 year. (The service life may be
short er, depend in g on the condi t io ns of use.)
When t he batt ery b ecome s weak , the ra nge of t he
card remote commander becomes shorter.
Replace the battery with a new CR2025 lithium
battery.
Notes on lithium battery
• Keep the lithium battery out of the reach of
children. Should the battery be swallowed,
immediately consult a doct or.
• Wipe the batter y w i t h a dr y cl oth to assur e a
good contact.
• Be sure to observe the correct polarity when
install i n g the batt e ry.
• Do not hold the battery with metallic tweezers,
otherwise a short-c ircuit may occur.
Removing the unit
1 Remove the front cover
1 De tach the front panel (page 8).
2 Pre ss t he clip ins id e th e front cover
with a thin screwdriver.
3 Repea t step 2
for the other side.
2 Remove the unit
1 Use a thin screwdriver to push in
the clip on the left side of the unit,
then pull out the left side of the unit
until the catch clears the mounting.
2 Repea t step 1 for the r ight s ide.
3 Slide the unit out of its mounting.
