2 Press either side of (DISC/PRESET)
to adjust the desired volum e level.
The volume level is adjustable by 1 dB
steps from –10 dB to +10 d B.
To restore the factory-set equalizer curve,
press (ENTER) for 2 seconds.
5 Press (MENU) twice.
When the effect setting is complete, the
normal playback mode appears.

Maintenance
Fuse replacement
When replacing the fuse, be sure to use one
matc hi ng the amp erage rati ng stated on t h e
original fuse. If the fuse blows, check the power
connection and replace the fuse. If the fuse blows
again after replacement, there may be an internal
malfunction. In such a case, co nsult your nearest
Sony dealer.
Warning
Never use a fus e w i t h an ampera ge rating
exceeding the one s upplied wi th the unit as this
could d am age the uni t .
Cleaning the connectors
The un it m ay not func ti on properly if the
conn ectors betw een the uni t and the front panel
are not clean. In order to prevent this, detach the
fron t panel (page 8) an d clean t he conn ectors
with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. D o not
apply too much force. Otherwise, the conn ecto rs
may be dam aged.
