Care and maintenance
Shutting off the water and electricity
supplies
• Turn off the water tap after every wash cycle to avoid
leaks.
• Always unp lug the ap plianc e when cleaning it and
when performing maintenanc e work.
Cleaning the dishwasher
• The external surfac es of the mac hine and the c ontrol
p anel may b e c leaned using a non-ab rasive c loth
whic h has been d amp ened with water. Do not use
solvents or ab rasive produc ts.
• Any marks on the inside of the appliance may be
removed using a c loth damp ened with water and a
little vineg ar.
Preventing unpleasant odours
• Always keep the door of the ap plianc e ajar in order to
avoid moisture from forming and being trapped inside
the machine.
• Clean the seals around the door and d etergent
d isp ensers regularly using a d amp sp ong e. This will
avoid food b ecoming trapp ed in the seals, which is
the main c ause b ehind the formation of unp leasant
od ours.
Cleaning the sprayer arms
Food resid ue may b ec ome encrusted onto the sp rayer
arms and block the holes used to spray the water. It is
therefore rec ommended that the arms are c hecked from
time to time and c leaned with a small non-metallic
b rush.
The two sprayer arms may both be removed.
To remove the upper sprayer
arm, rotate the loc king ring in
an anti-clockwise direction.
The upp er sp rayer arm should
b e replaced with the holes
facing upwards.
The lower sprayer arm c an b e
removed by pressing on the
side tabs and pulling it upwards.
Cleaning the water inlet filter*
If the water hoses are new or have not been used for an
extended period of time, let the water run to make sure it
is clear and free of impurities before performing the
nec essary c onnec tions. If this p rec aution is not taken,
the water inlet c ould bec ome bloc ked and d amag e the
d ishwasher.
Clean the water inlet filter at the tap outlet regularly.
- Turn off the water tap.
- Unsc rew the end of the water inlet hose, remove the filter
and c lean it c arefully under running water.
- Replac e the filter and sc rew the water hose bac k into
p osition.
Cleaning the filters
The filter assembly c onsists of three filters whic h remove
food resid ues from the washing water and then rec irc ulate
the water. They should b e c leaned if you wish to ac hieve
the best results in every wash.
Clean the filters regularly.
The dishwasher should not be used without filters, or if
the filter is loose.
After cleaning the filters, replace the filter assembly and fix
it in p osition c orrec tly; this is essential for maintaining the
effic ient operation of the d ishwasher.
Leaving the machine unused for
extended periods
• Disc onnec t the ap p lianc e from the elec tric ity sup p ly and
shut off the water tap.
• Leave the d oor of the app lianc e ajar.
• When you return, run a wash c yc le when the d ishwasher
is empty.
• After several washes, check the filter assemb ly and if
nec essary c lean it thoroug hly und er running water, using a
non-metallic brush and following the instruc tions below:

1. Turn the cylindric al filter C in an anti-clockwise d irection
and pull it out (fig. 1).

2. Remove the c up filter B by exerting a slight pressure on
the side flaps (fig. 2).

3. Slide out the stainless steel plate filter A (fig. 3).

Inspect the trap and remove any food residue. NEVER
REMOVE the wash cycle pump (black detail)
(fig. 4)
