Other touch screen operations
Press this button to turn on/off the screen backlight. The function can be used to change the screen
br ightness w hile tra ve ling at night.
Press this butto n to display the General Setup menu.
RDS function
There are the PI, PS, TP, PTY, TA, AF.
PI: Program Identificat io n Code – for identifying code.
PS: Program Service Name Broadcast – statio n name data expressed in alphanumerically charact er.
TP: Traffic Program Identificat ion – fo r traffic informatio n broadcasting st atio n.
TA: Tra ffic Ann ouncement Identification – showin g traffic in formation is bein g transmitted or not.
AF: Alternat ive frequencies – frequency list of bro adcasting station transmit ting the same program.
AF function
Press AF but t o n o n t he RC, the fro nt p anel o r o n t he t o uchable sc re en (in pag e 2 mo de) t o sw itch o n/o ff mo de.
Symbol “AF” will appear on the display. Press the button again to switch off the AF mode.
Note: The t uner will retur n t o Alternative Frequencies whenever the reception signals getting wo rse.
“Alarm” will be displayed when an emergency broadcasting is received.
PTY function
Press PTY button on touchable screen or panel or RC to activate the PTY function.
