Troubleshooting guide
Symptom
Cause Solution
General
No power
The car ignition is not on.
The fus e is blown.
If the power supply is properly connected to the
car accessory switch the ignition key t o “ACC”.
Replace the fuse.
Disc
Disc cannot be loaded.
P resence of dis c ins ide the player. Remove the disc in the player then put a new
upward.
Disc cannot be rea d. Inser ting the dis c in u ps ide down.
Compact disc is extremely dirty or
defective.
Temper atu re inside t he car is too high.
Insert the compact disc with the label facing
upward.
C lean the dis c or try to p lay a new one.
Cool off until the ambient temperature returns to
normal.
No sou nd Volume is in minimu m.
Wiring is not prop erly c onnected.
Adjust volu me to a desired level.
C heck wiring connection.
The op era tion keys do not
work.
The built-in microcomputer is not
operating prop erly due to noise.
Front panel is not properly fix into its
place.
Press the power button for about 10 seconds to
reset the unit
S ound s kips. The installation angle is more than 30
degrees.
The dis c i s extremely dir ty or defective.
Adjust the installation angle to less than 30
degrees.
C lean the compact disc/try to p lay a new one.
The radio does not work,
